Day 9

Heidelberg—Erfurt
Worms - We will pass (without stopping) in the city where Luther was condemned, by the Roman Church, as a heretic

Mainz - We will visit the Cathedral where Luther was ordained, and the Natural History Museum (exhibition on Gutenberg)

Wartburg/Eisenach - We will visit the homes of Luther, Johann Sebastian Bach, and the castle where Luther translated the New Testament to German

Day 10

Erfurt—Wittemberg

A specialist in the history of biblical interpretation, I have studied at universities in the United States and Israel (Andrews University, Princeton, Hebrew University).
I have been teaching courses on the historical, geographical, and literary context of the Bible at the Israel Institute of Biblical Studies since 2014, and have been invited to teach at UNASP (Brazil), Faculdade Internacional Cidade Viva (Brazil), Andrews University, and Duke Divinity School.
I have written articles and book chapters on the Protestant Reformation and the Middle Ages (see examples below).
